Embedding Entrepreneurship

With entrepreneurship and enterprise becoming more of a social movement it is ever more important that educators and policy makers understand how people can learn about the qualities, motivations and behaviours that can empower people to flourish in a future where self-reliance is going to be important. At Cambridge University, entrepreneurship education is starting to embed itself through the work of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning. There is greater recognition that the knowledge and research at the University can serve society better if allowed to reach people in commercial and sustainable ways. This presentation illustrates the work and the practical steps taken to embed entrepreneurship education at the University. The experiences are transferable to schools. (Annual Conference 2007)
